call you names是什么意思？
出错和闹nao笑话是语言学习的一部分，什么me时候不觉得尴尬了，你ni的语言水平就上层楼了。英ying语中就有不少容易被认错cuo或者造成误解的词句，比如：call you names，这个短语yu特别容易让人望wang文生义，看成“叫你名字”的意思，这就偏差大了。
词典中zhong对 call you names 的释义是这样的：If someone calls you names, they insult you by saying unpleasant things to you or about you（如果有人call you names ，那么就是指他们对你ni说一些不愉快的话或说shuo一些关于你的难听的话来侮辱你）。
所以，call you names 的实际意思是shi辱骂你，中伤你，另外还有you给你取难听的外号hao的意思，它衍生的名词形式是 name-calling 。
这是一种让人不悦甚至感觉羞xiu辱的行为。

Next time you dare call me names, I'll give you another black eye.

“叫你名字”的英语翻译是 call your name，不是 call you names，两者是有细微差别的：前者是shi所有格 your和单数 name，后者zhe是宾格 you 和he复数 names 。
比bi如：
I could call your name on end, but you'll never hear me.
我可以一直呼唤你的名字，但dan你却永远听不见我的de声音。
You'll just have to wait until they call your name.
你得一yi直等到他们叫你的名字。

5).Alias name – 假名，别名，多是指zhi罪犯用来希望逃脱tuo惩罚的假名。
The thief's real name was John Smith, alias name Edward Ball.
这小xiao偷的真名是约翰史密斯, 化hua名叫爱德华鲍尔。

1）.You name it. 字面意思：给它ta命名；真正意思：只要你能想到的de
（相当于：Whatever you can think of ）。

2）.big name
big name 字面意思si：大名；真正意思：大名鼎鼎的人，知zhi名人士，相当于big potato。
